The pre-filters for my AIRPURA C600-DLX are so simple to change. I had feared it might be complicated, but it is so simple. Just unbolt the four screws on the base, remove the filters and line the unit with the new one. It's ingenious how a paper sheet acts as a funnel to reinsert the carbon filter without catching against the pre-filter and moving it out of position! So simple! I vacuum the outside of my unit every few months to pull out any excess dust from the filter helping it last longer. It's a very effective product and highly recommended!
I conducted a lot of research before buying this UV614. I wanted something to help me with mold allergies, and also pet dander. My bedroom smelled completely different after running this unit a few hours, and I noticed I had better sleep quality almost immediately. I also love that the unit has simple to use controls. The dial is easy to turn in the middle of the night as I don't have to find a remote or turn on the lights to operate it as I did with the Dyson before it. It also has a very nice white noise. All around this was more than worth the purchase price. The unit also seems to gather less dust than the Dyson, perhaps because it is bigger. I have had this for 8 months now and it has been maintenance free.
I have bought 3 of these purifiers, one for a friend, one for my daughter & one for us (UV600). It is very reassuring to know this is running & keeping our small home free of contaminates. I believe there may be a mold problem also, so the UV light is an added comfort.
My home has two main issues: smell of mold and dust. This house is a 20 year old one and due to construction fault many small unexplained spaces around and behind the wall. We have been suffering allergy due to mold spores and all day dust. I have used many air cleaner or purifiers since I move here. My allergy was not cured by any brand of air cleaner until I installed P600 a month ago. Lo and be hold! My allergy is now all gone, I do not need any meds. I do not smell any mold. For the first time, I wake up without sneezing. I breathe freely. No lingering smell when I came home.
I think P600 is the best air purifier I used. I worried about the high cost to maintain, but I don’t care any more, I can breathe free. No sneezing or itchy eyes. Thank you Airpura, you saved my life. I am looking forward to coming home after work.
I needed a good air cleaner due to wildfire smoke & the nasty particles. Went on a research rabbit hole and found that this machine had what I was looking for. Thanks to the gentleman running the Air Purification Education youtube channel. Simple and sleek. I look forward to having this unit for many years to come.
When I first got it, the air quality in my room was very bad so I had to step out for a few hours or so while it does the job, however it is clean air when I return. If you are dealing with any irritants in the air/cleaning I recommended to run the unit low at first because it will disturb everything, or to turn it off when you are cleaning.
Secondly, I did not get his name however the customer service representative who helped me via was very helpful. He helped me pick out which unit would be best for my needs. I recommend giving them a call if you are unsure or have any questions. I’m glad to support a canadian owned company as well.
