R600 - The Everyday Air Purifier

Great air purifier! I got the cream version. The design is sleek and compact, and it goes along with most decor. I also notice a significant difference just minutes after turning it on, and my air quality monitor consistently shows "Good" after using this purifier. It's efficient and reliable!

In 2015 I purchased the R600 as I moved into a new build and had constant headaches from new construction, dust and pollen and who knows what I replaced filters and pre filters and continued to have good results. I am now replacing it with a R400 a it is time to replace filters again and I do not need the 2000 square foot model. I recommend Airpura highly.

OVER 10 years ago, I moved into an apartment near the 101 in Los Angeles and was worried about air quality being exceptionally bad. My parents bought me the R600 as a housewarming gift and within the first couple of minutes I'd had it on, the air felt NOTICEABLY clearer/cleaner/fresh. I've kept up with buying all the filter replacements diligently until the past year and feel like I'm noticing the difference now that I'm overdue for replacements. It feels like a lot of money but this was WORTH the investment.

We bought our R600 when I was recovering from mold illness in 2016. Since we lost much of what we owed (and insurance didn't help replace), we were short on money and bought this basic model. Never regretted that decision and plan on buying a second R600 soon for our second floor!!

When I was recovering, we rolled it from room to room in our 1000 sq ft home, and it kept our air clean enough to help me heal. Because it is so well made, it had no problem with our cross-country move (we took the wheels off and of course packed it well). We used to run it 24/7, but now that I'm better, we run it at night or when needed. It quickly takes care of kitchen smoke, pet smells, cat litter dust, and allergens beautifully! You can smell a difference.

Cons: On the highest setting, it is loud. You need to keep track of when to change the filters and changing the filters is cumbersome. It's difficult to clean the interior fan portion as dust can build up there. But none of these things diminish this unit in our opinion as we like that it has one job and does that job really well. We love it!!!

Bought the R600-H back in 2009. Purpose was to filter the air in an unfinished basement with exposed pink insulation across the whole ceiling. There's about 600 square feet of space with an 8-foot ceiling. The unit has been running 24x7 since I bought it. Never, ever had a problem with it. AND, within the first day, the particulates I could see in the basement air (when the light was just right) were gone.
Since purchase, refreshed the filter pack, but that's it. Unit does the job with the kind of product reliability you rarely find these days.
